The Chinese Academy of Forestry is the most prominant research organization in the forestry, wood utilization and natural resources in China.
A delegation of 6 prominant scientists will be visiting North Carolina State University. Including President, Zhang Shougoung and 5 forestry professors. A special seminar is scheduled and two presentations.
Dr. Xu Daping, Director, Research Institute of Tropical Forestry and Professor of Forest Management will present
“Improvement and Cultivation of Main Plantation Trees in Southern China”
Dr. Zheng Yongqi, Professor on Forest Genetics and Breeding will present
“Studies of Conservation and Breeding of Pines in China”
Anyone in the area can attend. You will have to fight for seating in the Conger Room but at least they are comfy :-D
