As you all know my current area of research is into ligno-cellulosic bio-fuels and a plant has opened up in Austria that is doing, somewhat, on the same lines as my research. Wood gasification is the most efficient way we have (at this time) of converting bio-materials into energy..fermentation and other methods are many many years behind. Here is the article.
This really is the future and you can expect to see a lot more of these plants springing up in the next 20 years! Wood is the future! (you never thought you’d hear that :-D).
